WESTBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: NYB) (the "Company") today announced that its chairman, president, and chief executive officer, Joseph R. Ficalora, will participate in the Citi Financial Services Conference to be held in New York City on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Mr. Ficalora's presentation is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time and will focus on the Company's fourth quarter 2008 performance and its business strategies.
